ZimChess Online Blitz : The First Official Online Tournament
ZimChess is taking the game online.
We are excited to announce ZimChess Online Blitz #1, the first official online tournament in the ZimChess online tournament series.
The tournament will bring chess players together on Lichess for a competitive, fast-paced 3+0 rated Blitz Arena.

One of our goals at ZimChess is to create more opportunities for Zimbabwean chess players to play, compete and connect.
Online chess allows players from different cities, clubs and communities to meet on the same board. Through this series, we hope to establish regular online competitive events and create a stronger chess community around ZimChess.

A Free Tournament for the Chess Community
The tournament is completely free to enter.
There are no cash prizes for this first event. Instead, the focus is on building a regular competitive platform for players and giving the chess community more opportunities to play.
The top three players will be recognized by ZimChess with digital certificates.
The tournament winner will also be recognized by ZimChess and featured on our platforms.
